Fire Protection – Vulcanguard may be used on composite substrates to protect from direct exposure
to flame. The product, when formulated with hollow glass microspheres (HGMS), will delay the
transportation of heat to the substrate and protect the substrate from oxidation.

Thermal Barrier – Vulcanguard can be formulated with a varying amount of HGMS to increase the
thermal barrier properties of the coating. As a thermal barrier coating the product can be used to
protect aircraft engine components as well as exhaust components used in diesel and gasoline engines.

High Temperature Corrosion – anticorrosion chemicals may be added to the base coating to help
protect carbon steel from elevated temperature oxidation and scaling. The coating is also quite hard
and will protect steel components from particle abrasion.

Vulcanguard is a high temperature coating with a continuous operating temperature of 1700°F and can tolerate temperature excursions to 2000°F for short periods of time. The coating has excellent adhesion to stainless steel, carbon steel, and nickel. It can be applied by brush, roller, or spray applications. In cases where dipping is required, the coating can be formulated to achieve thicknesses of 120 mils with a single dip.
Vulcanguard is completely inorganic and will not char or degrade when exposed to temperatures up to 2000°F. The high temperature properties are achieved using a combination of proprietary sol-gel chemistry along with a proprietary combination of surface modified fillers. This technology results in a coating composition that has low shrinkage during cure and excellent adhesion to many metal substrates.
Vulcanguard has excellent thermal shock properties, surviving multiple cycles from 1500 F to 40F (cold water) without delamination from the substrate. The coating can tolerate significant distortion of the substrate during this test and still remain firmly bonded to the substrate. Reverse impact properties are also excellent, demonstrating no delamination from the substrate after impact.

The hydrophobic coating consists of a nano-structure coating applied to the surface and can not to be seen with naked eye. What you see is a beading, water repelling effect. Water forms beads on the treated surface. After treating, the nano-structures form a breathable, durable adhesion with the surface. The new Easy-to-Clean surface is now easily maintained, optically clear and stain-resistant.

PhaseBreak Flex MPD is a two-part, durable siloxane coating that reduces ice particle adhesion (cryophobicity). The coating is a unique formulation of siloxanes, silanes and freeze point depressants that enable an ambient cure system. The coating is easy to apply by air or airless spray equipment, or by brush. The coating was designed to shed ice from static surfaces, such as power equipment, satellite dishes and steel structures.
The coating reduces ice adhesion two ways. First, the coating is formulated with a specialty oil that significantly reduces inherent ice adhesion. Second, freezing point depressants melt ice at the surface of the coating. The freeze point depressants are non-toxic and environmentally safe. The coating has good durability and excellent resistance to ice formation

Correz AC is a three part epoxy silicate coating that provides exceptional caustic protection in demanding environments. If rust inhibition is required, the formula can be modified by the addition of zinc salts to form an anticorrosive, caustic resistant coating with low moisture permeability. The coating is a unique formulation of epoxy and ethyl silicates that enables an ambient cure system, yielding a final coat that is tough and durable. The coating is VOC compliant, with no hazardous materials and is safe and easy to apply by air or airless spray equipment, roller or brush.
When curing, a strong interpenetrating network forms within a unique epoxy base to provide exceptional toughness, adhesive strength, hardness, and crack resistance.

EZ ARMOR is a hydrophobic surface treatment formulated to produce water repellant and oleophobic properties when applied to glass substrates. EZ AZRMOR contains an amphiphilic polymer dispersed in mineral spirits. When applied to glass, the polymer reacts with the substrate via a moisture activated sol-gel chemistry.

The life span of the coating depends on user habits. The nano-structure adhesion with the surface is solid, durable and gives an easy-to-clean effect that acts like Teflon. If you use heavy abrasives, strong alkaline, strong acid or brushes, the coating will be damaged, and could damage the surface itself.
For maintenance, it is sufficient to wipe the glass with a cotton towel or a glass squeegee. Soap and dirt particles are easily removed and the clear beading effect will be preserved.
Is the coated surface self-cleaning?
In truth, no product is self-cleaning, but the cleaning will be easier and less frequent due to the hydrophobic properties of the nano-impregnation coating.
